Cykl pięciominutowych nowel filmowych to projekt realizowany przez dwudziestu wybitnych reżyserów. Każdy z nich opowiada krótką historię miłosną, rozgrywającą się w jednej z dzielnic Paryża. Film stanowi podróż przez stolicę zakochanych, ukazuje różne oblicza miłości. W jednej z nowel zbolała matka (Juliette Binoche) opłakuje śmierć swojego synka. "Bastille" w reżyserii Isabel Coixet opowiada o mężczyźnie (Sergio Castellitto) , który na nowo zakochuje się w swojej żonie (Miranda Richardson), gdy okazuje się, że jest ona śmiertelnie chora. Bohaterką "Faubourg Saint-Denis" jest początkująca aktorka (Natalie Portman), zakochana w niewidomym chłopaku. |
